Family,

Once again it is nice to hear that everyone is doing good! I'm doing awesome. I'm honestly being so blessed in this area. I'm sure it has a little to do with fasting praying and well most importantly working! we just seem to do good. This week we brought 12 people to church 4 for the first time, had one baptism, and well the most amazing thing of all was that I was able to give Arturo the priesthood. It was the first time I have ever done it. It was kind of a funny event. We were in priesthood and they anounced Arturo and told him to come to the front. I was sitting right behind him with an investigador and he turns to me and says I want you to do it. I was like of course I'll do it (having no idea what to do, haha) anyways, the first counselor had a card that had the things I needed to say and well come to find out, it was a lot easier than I thought it would be. It was really a neat experience! I loved it! Well, really the mission is awesome. I'm absolutely loving it. Oh, so about my coming home date (not that I'm really thinking about it a lot wink. . wink . . ) but the calendar says June 28th, I believe that's the date you can plan on.

About the pictures. . . it's just super hard to find a place that has something to accept my memory card to fit it into a computer, but I was thinking about doing it with my companions camera. Also we played soccer on friday with the jovenes of the ward and well destroyed a pair of my shairs. oops. Dont worry I´ve still got what I need to finish. If worst comes to worse I'll just use the indoor soccer shoes I bought before coming. I mean they are black and more comfortable haha.

About the card and letter, well tomorrow we have zone conference and so I should be getting them tomorrow. At least I hope. Elder Cozzens told me that I have a package and a bunch of letters so I assume that is what those are.

Well love you guys take care!

Fam,

My companion is awesome! We worked super hard this week and were able to find 20 new investigators and of those 20 we took 5 of them to church for the first time! It was awesome! As far as the district goes, it looks like I will be leaving my companion in the area to work while I go and help some of the other Elders in my district. They just don't seem to have the animo that my companion and I have about missionary work so I'm going to see if I can help them out a bit! Oh yeah, and I still haven't heard from Elder Cozzens, but I'm sure he is doing good! Really it was awesome having him as a companion because I really got to see a lot of improvement in him which was great! We also had two baptisms and two confirmations this week, which was awesome! It was of Arturo and his wife! They really were so excited and asked me to give them a blessing afterward also. It was really a neat experience! Three months of hard work with them, but now they are super excited and well there are lots of people who want to give them callings so it is way cool!

Also this week I received a call from Elder Christensen who is also from my generation and is right now the district leader in my first area. He told me that he had found a family that I was teaching in Valle Dorado and that they asked him about me and said that they loved me (but to be honest I really don't remember them) but it really made me feel good because I felt like I had no success in that area and worked my behind off but well looks like I planted a seed and so they should be getting baptized in about a month. Yeah! WEll love you guys take care!

Family,

We had changes today and I spent my whole day sending people off and recieving the new Elders! That's why I haven't been able to write. Just imagine 4 hours in a bus station. Man it was horrible, but part of being a district leader I guess. haha. Well, Elder Cozzens went to the offices and I got Elder Sandoval. He is from Michoacan and this is only his fourth change in the mission. Kind of funny because that's how many I have left until I go home! But ya, all is well! Love you guys!

Familia,

Wow, sounds like you guys have had a busy week! Well, for New Years, I went to bed early! They told us we had to be in our house by 8 and being that I was exhausted, well I decided I would make the best use out of it. But this week was really a slow week because everyone was out of town so no one was home and on New Years day everyone was still asleep at two in the afternoon. It was a really hard day for working.

Well funny story. . . so we went to pick up some investigators to go to church on Sunday morning and it was raining and me, not thinking, didn't bring an umbrella. When we got to our investigators house and we were knocking . . . all of the sudden my companion gets bit by a goose! haha! (Sorry, I don't think I would have thought is was funny at first.) Oh man it really was hilarious. I did feel kind of bad . . . but really . . . . a goose? Poor guy, he was really angry right after but it makes for a good story so he lightened up and started to joke about it!

Oh yeah, don't know if you remember arturo an investigator that I found like 2 months ago . . well he is going to get baptized not this Saturday but the next. . so that will be a really good experience and tomorrow they are going to make us pancakes for breakfast. I'm so excited! oh yeah, I haven't gotten the letter from grandma yet, but when I get it I will let you know! Well take care I love you guys!
